Estimates are free. If you are installing or replacing something — a water heater, a repipe, new fixtures, a sewer line — an experienced technician comes out, looks at the actual job, and gives you a written price. No charge for the visit, and no obligation to book the work.
How it works
- Tell us about the job. Call or send a message describing what you need. A photo helps us arrive with the right parts.
- We come out and look. An experienced technician assesses the job on site — not a guess from the driveway, and not a number over the phone.
- You get a written quote. A flat price for the specific work, in writing, before anything starts. Take your time with it: there is no obligation and nobody will chase you.
What is free, and what carries a diagnostic fee
The difference is whether we already know what the job is. Pricing a known scope is measuring and quoting, so it costs you nothing:
- Water heater installation and replacement, tank or tankless
- Whole-home repiping
- Sewer line replacement
- New fixtures — sinks, toilets, faucets, tubs
- Water treatment and softener installs
- Remodel and addition plumbing
Troubleshooting is different. Finding an unknown fault is the work itself — it takes an experienced technician and real equipment, so it carries a diagnostic fee:
- Hidden leak detection — electronic tracing through walls and slabs
- Sewer camera inspection for a recurring or unexplained drain problem
- Intermittent faults with no visible cause
We tell you that fee before we come out, never after. And once we have found the problem, the quote to fix it is free like any other — you are paying for the diagnosis, not for a price tag.
Happy to be your free second opinion
Already have a quote from another plumber? Bring it to us. Our technicians are not paid on commission, so nobody here has a reason to talk you into the bigger job. If the cheaper repair will hold, we will say so. If the work does not need doing at all, we will tell you that too — even though it means we do not get the job. That is the whole point of a second opinion, and it is what we would want told to our own family.
Why we do not quote over the phone
A number given sight-unseen is a guess, and guesses get revised upward once the work starts. Two houses with identical symptoms can need completely different repairs — one drain clears with a snake, the next turns out to be a collapsed sewer lateral. We would rather look first and give you a number we will stand behind. For straightforward work we can often give you a sense of the range on the call, so you know roughly what you are facing before we arrive.
