We’ve always had a great experience with Gallegos Plumbing. This time was no exception. Our plumber William G. replaced our water heater and the corroded knobs in our shower. He arrived early, which was a huge plus, and was very professional, courteous, clean, and friendly. He did a great job and made the whole process easy and stress-free. He was also super knowledgeable!! We really appreciate the excellent service and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable plumber.

Understood problem and solved it quickly

When my sewer line started backing up I called Gallegos plumbing. They sent out their technician Andrew. He was right on time and did an excellent job clearing my pipes. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely be using this company in the future as their technician delivered great service.

I called Gallegos Plumbing when I was worried about a possible leak after my neighbors downstairs got flooded. Jordan arrived to my house to inspect and immediately I felt at ease as he was so knowledgeable and kind. By the end of the inspection I was no longer worried, there was no leak, but we had made a plan to keep me protected in case I ever did get a leak. He had great recommendations for someone to come inspect for possible water and mold damage and he even caught my expired water heater which will now be replaced. I can’t say enough great things about Jordan and the entire Gallegos staff that helped me.

I contracted for some back yard landscaping about ten years ago and, as part of the work, had a custom fire pit built. Unfortunately the contractor decided to place the gas line and valve to the pit within the masonry work, leaving no way to access the line should the need arise. Flash forward to about a week and a half ago, and the valve in my backyard fire pit became stripped and was no longer opening or closing with they key. I am a DIY guy 95% of the time, but I am not about to go messing around with a gas line, so I called a local fire place shop to ask about repairs. They told me the job required a plumber and recommended Lloyd's Plumbing service. I called Lloyd's, left a message and... never heard back. After a couple days I searched on my own and found Gallegos Plumbing. I called them and asked about an estimate. The gentleman told me there was no charge to have someone come out I had an appointment scheduled for the next day. The communication throughout the entire process was spectacular. Within a couple minutes of hanging up the phone, I had already received an email and text confirming my pending appointment, and even had a reminder email and text the next day. Bill Jeffries was the gentleman who came to my house. He called me to let me know he was on his way and also asked me about the issue I was having with my fire pit so he could be as prepared as possible. He showed up on time and was very friendly. He took a look at my fire pit, spent time answering my questions, and walked me through three different solutions that could work. He was honest and transparent about the estimated costs for each potential solution, which I appreciated. But seeing the concerned look on my face, knowing that I was looking at a higher cost than expected due to how my fire pit was built, Bill offered a fourth solution that I could try myself, and walked me through how he would do it. In my experience, this just doesn't happen these days. Bill was genuinely interested in helping me figure out my problem and not just looking to make some money. After 30 minutes of his time, he gave me his card, shook my hand, told me to call if I needed anything, and bid me a good afternoon. I was left with no charge for the time or the visit, and a potential solution to my problem that I can try myself for the cost of a few tools and an afternoon. Gallegos Plumbing came through huge, and I feel that their service and expertise is second to none. Bill was extremely professional, friendly, and listened to me. I will most certainly be calling Gallegos Plumbing in the future for all my my plumbing needs, as mine was a great first experience. I am glad I found them, and I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing service in their home. It's hard to find good, honest, hard-working businesses these days who put their customers first, but Gallegos Plumbing is one of those few. Highly recommended, and I can't say thank you enough.

My water heater blew out and Joseph came out same day to provide an estimate and install a replacement unit. Great workmanship and the price was fair (significantly less than the installer that Home Depot recommended). Consider me a repeat customer.

He assessed our problem regarding a flooding drainage issue on our property and by the next day sent estimates for three options rated best, better, and good, to give us cost options. All being good solutions. Just giving us the option of doing some digging ourselves. (Which we do a lot of). Most appreciated!

Showed up on time and even though all of the local stores did not have the part we needed for the repair, he ordered the part and arranged a time the next day that worked with our schedule to come back and finish the job. In the meantime, he got the toilet functional so that we could use it whilst waiting for the part.

Requesting leak detection services is never a positive experience, or so I had previously thought. When Jordan Gobbell arrived to service my home, I relaxed and became hopeful. Jordan is the consummate professional but more importantly, he is a terrific human! Jordan did the testing, made recommendations and then took personal interest in helping me problem-solve what has become a very frustrating situation. He could have just done his job but instead he went above and beyond in the way that best friend or treasured family member might. This type of service and caring is hard to find these days. You can't train someone to be like Jordan. Either you have the heart, or you don't. Heart, personality, expertise and empathy! Jordan Gobbell has it all, something that I am most grateful for today. Josh Duran recently came to help me with a different problem in two of my bathrooms. Although I felt very frustrated, Josh was calm and supportive throughout the entire process. His recommendations were greatly appreciated! Most importantly, he gave me many options and guidance the way a family member might. So happy with the end result! Through some his recommendations, I am already planning my next projects. Most importantly, I felt very comfortable with Josh, was happy with the quality of his work and look forward to having him back for my next plumbing project.

People are being disingenuous in the reviews about high charges considering Jordan didn't charge me for a previous plumber locating the problem or for coming out in general. We were without water for half a week, because the city notified us of very high continuous water usage. Almost 8,000 gallons. It turns out there was a massive galvanized pipe leak under our turf on the side of the yard we rarely go on. It was only noticeable if you pulled the turf back and dug. We really needed the problem fixed asap, and they came back the next day spending all day digging out an area to reroute the new pipes. This meant they weren't going to dig up my whole lawn. I'm very thankful to Daniel, Jordan, and the owner for caring enough about my property to not leave it a mess. They also cleaned up after themselves. I thought I was going to have to redo my rocks. The only part that is going to be annoying is someone made an odd swirly cut on the turf rather than pull it back to that spot, so it's never going to look right unless we get new turf. The only other problem is something my dad noticed when I showed him pictures. We have old knob and tube and it was touching the copper piping. If the insulation around the wire wears out (which it always does) that pipe will become a hazard. We solved this by getting some rubberized insulation that is precut to fit around pipes at Lowe's. I can't say if almost $8k is a reasonable cost for what they did, but I saw four years ago someone had a similar issue in NorCal and it cost them $5k.

We recently had to tackle a severe buildup obstruction in the two-story cast iron sewer pipe of our 40-year-old home. The service team approached the problem systematically, attempting several methods to resolve the issue while managing increasing labor and cost requirements transparently. The teams worked diligently during every single appointment. When standard clearing methods weren't enough, they ultimately sectioned and removed the problematic pipe. The issue is completely resolved—our showers and sinks are draining perfectly now. Ruben, Noah, Edgar, Andrew and Ethan did a great job. Highly recommend their dedication to getting the job done right!

The assigned plumber JON MEDINA, did a very thorough explanation of the root cause of the problems and provided all available options and recommendations so I could choose which ones I wanted. I would highly recommend Gallegos Plumbing. First of all, their prices are very good. I didn’t have to dig into our kids’ college funds. Secondly, our plumber, Will did a great job changing out our kitchen sink faucet. He also changed out the cartridges on our RO water filter which is harder than you might think. He was on time, courteous, and professional. Everything’s perfect. He even hauled away all the old parts for us. Whenever you have plumbing related needs, call Gallegos Plumbing. I have been using Gallegos plumbing for years for my personal home and my rental and they always do a great job. Today Noah came out to replumb the dishwasher hookup because it was not done properly and caused me to have to repair the dishwasher prematurely. He completely explained why this needed to be done. Luckily he also found a slow leak at the supply valve and replaced the pipe in the wall. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I've never had a bad experience with Gallegos and wouldn't consider calling anyone else

Anthony came out to help me figure out a water sensor my insurance company wanted installed. He went way out of his way to call the company and get important information. He explained it all to me and educated me on all the details of the install. He wasn’t rushed and gave me confidence in making the right decision Anthony is friendly and knowledgeable and super professional! He answered questions I had on other services that I was interested in and facilitated getting my appointment for a tankless hot water heater set up that day. He was not pushy or focused on a sale, he just came alongside me and assisted me in the process. He even checked in with me after the tankless hot water system was installed…He wasn’t the one who installed it. My water heater quit this morning. After reading reviews I contacted Gallegos Plumbing. Within a few hours Josh Duran was at my door. It’s 2:00 pm and I have a brand new functional water heater. Josh was great in every way. 100% recommend this business, and Josh.

Wonderful experience booking our appointment, working with the company. The plumber was very experienced and knew how to address our issue. We experienced a bit of sticker shock, otherwise this would be 5 stars.

They were hired to stop a water leak outside. It turned out the builder did not use stronger schedule 80 PVC that connected to copper. Gallegos replaced PVC with copper and installed a regulator after the meter. The job took two days and about ten hours to complete. I am very happy with the outcome and will be recommending them to my neighbors. On the next morning the water pipe burst sending a river into the street. I had to shut the water at the meter. Called Gallegos Plumbing with emergency request. After a few hours they sent Nick Sendrow. He did replace some PVC pipe and covered up the dug up soil. He did a great job and the problem seems to be resolved. I feel Gallegos Plumbing is a responsible and high quality company.

This was our first time using Gallegos Plumbing. They came highly recommended by a local family we are friends with who are in the construction trade. I was impressed with the plumbing professional who came out to our house the day after I called. Will Barton had in-depth knowledge on the tankless water heating system. The system needed to be properly serviced as the performance was suffering. He was very friendly and helpful in explaining the work that needed to be performed. He gave me a few options without ever being pushy or “salesman” like. It was evident he wanted to make sure problems with our tankless water heater were addressed When we have plumbing needs in the future, we Will (pun intended) reach out to Gallegos Plumbing!

Mario was dispatched to our home within two hours of our calling to repair an upstairs toilet leak the was dripping through the ceiling to the first floor. He not only repaired the leak, but checked all the other toilets in the house, including the home water pressure, providing us with recommendations as to how to address the latter. Christian came out on Saturday to follow up on a job that was started on Friday. He found the issue and made the recommendation to replace the entire gas line.

Great experience with Josh and Gallegos plumbing. We called for removal and replacement of old whole house water filter system as it was leaking. Josh discovered our 25 yr old pressure regulator valve was not functioning, hence the leak. We knew we had to replace the main line valve outside our house as it would not completely shut off water flow within our house. Josh agreed and recommended a ball valve. Additionally our Insinkerator faucet was leaking & we had just purchased a new one to install. Josh arrived and set about first replacing the outside regulator, ball valve and installed an automatic shut off device in case of leaks. Really beautiful work (see pict). Then into the garage. Removed old filters and installed new system. No leaking. Next into the kitchen for faucet removal and replacement. He performed all the work quickly and was super efficient. Answered all our questions. Cleaned up everything and left us in a much better place than we were before he got here...thank you Josh.

Gallegos Plumbing is superb! My old tired toilet was repeatedly clogged recently. Andrew Hernandez explained the benefits of replacing it and recommended one that would meet our needs. We made the appointment for the next morning. Edgar Camacho arrived the next morning. It was quickly installed. He took away the old one and left everything neat and clean. I’m highly impressed with these two tradesmen. They were so courteous and respectful. We are enjoying are new trouble free toilet.

First time using Gallegos…would definitely call again. I had a tankless water heater serviced. Josh arrived on time and worked efficiently. He answered all my questions and made suggestions for other possible work in the future. Overall a very good experience and would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work.

Anthony came out to give me an estimate to replace a standard water heater with a new tankless water heater. He was on time, friendly and super knowledgeable. Post Installation Update: According to Jose the installer the unit couldn’t be mounted where we had previously discussed so now the cord doesn’t reach the existing plug. So now I’m stuck with a water heater that I have paid for, but can’t use. I’m obviously having Electrician out when he can make it but it’s been quite a frustrating process. The installer was content to have me plug it in with the cheapest extension cord known to man and told me to just have an electrician come within a month. He told me that the manufacturer said that was OK. After doing some reading, it’s absolutely not safe so I’ve unplugged it. After talking with Anthony who came out initially the unit could have and should have been mounted where we originally discussed, not sure why Jose wasn’t able to get it done. Overall, pretty disappointed at what could’ve been a great experience if Anthony had done the installation. Seems like they should have the guy who is going to do the installation come out and do the estimate/assessment. Clearly a lot gets lost in translation when somebody else comes to actually instal the unit. I got a follow up call from the office and it does seem like the work Jose did is not in line with the service they usually provide. I will definitely be using them in the future for plumbing services but will insist that the same person who comes out to give the estimate is the one who’s doing the work.

Had Josh Duran come out and replace a shower valve. Josh was really professional and clearly explained all our options if the valve solution didn't fix the problem. (Which it did) He was very clean and put on booties over his work boots before entering the house. This is the third time using Gallegos and would use them again.

This was 3rd plumbing contractor I called for one job. The first canceled because their uncle "died". The second canceled because their techs truck was broken. When the second came out without even looking at shower immediately tried to upsell my wife on total valve change instead of cheaper cartridge change. Gallegos was on time, stuck to original agreed upon scheduling. The plumber showed up showed my wife list of options for the job and explained we wanted cartridge change and proceeded to finish job and was quick and efficient. Very kind people in person and over the phone. Communication could be better. After discussing and attempting to sign authorization for work I was told the filter needed to be ordered for my hot water heater filter. Very reasonable. After a few days I didn’t hear back and called the sweet lady who said nothing was ordered because I didn’t sign the work agreement. But I did! I sent it to the technician via text. So as a result the required part was not ordered. I waited to hear back and called again. The woman who answered told me nothing was ordered because I didn’t sign the work authorization. She kindly went ahead and ordered the part. 5 days later I still didn’t hear back do I called and yes the part had come in. They scheduled the work for the following day. The technicians who came were wonderful and the work was completed in about 15 minutes. Then the invoice was presented and I was overcharged by about $350. I pointed this out and am now waiting for a credit on my debit card. Yes I would use this company again in the future but would be mindful of confirming what work I authorized and the cost I’m charged,

We have an older rental property that, unfortunately has experienced plumbing issues over the years. Plumbing contractors kinda have you over a barrel when suggesting work that needs to be done over and above the current problem and it’s usually very expensive. We had Gallegos come to our personal home a couple of years ago to clear out a water softener explosion of amber beads that clogged our entire house’s pipes! From the office personnel to the techs who came and followed up with us on this very puzzling job - Gallegos was professional as well as dedicated to making everything right again. After our experience with them over the years, they continue to be our choice for plumbing repair.

Called first thing in the morning when the house water was only getting lukewarm the night before. Happy that Gallegos was able to schedule me for the same day in the afternoon. They installed the new heater and we had hot water by dinner time. Anthony even put some special sauce in the toilet to clear out all the calcium deposits.

William arrived during the stated time frame. He was courteous & friendly. We discussed the problem with the garbage disposal & HP selection for the new disposal. I also shared that since I had a double sink, water would back up into one side when the disposal was on. In addition, I had a concern with the flush mounted button switch & water getting down into the button switch. William discovered the one-way valve between the two sinks was originally installed incorrectly. In addition, William applied caulking around the flush mounted counter button switch to prevent water draining into the switch. Before William left he tested the new garage disposal. No water backing up into the second sink! William left the work area clean & tidy. The added plus is William took the old disposal with him to dispose of correctly. Great Job!

Had an issue with our shower mix valve. Will was great. Fixed it…to the extent the ancient works could be addressed. And let us know what the next step was for a replacement (for which we get credit for work already paid for). Anthony Garcia did a terrific job repairing the leak in our dishwasher shutoff valve. He clearly explained the work needed, gave us an accurate estimate of the cost, and then tested everything thoroughly once the new shutoff valve was installed. He also did a thorough check of the other plumbing under our sink to make sure everything was functioning correctly. And, to top it off, Anthony checked the external gas supply line leading into the house (it is immediately adjacent to our main water shutoff valve) and identified a slow leak we were unaware of - very glad he found it! We highly recommend Anthony - he's highly professional, an excellent communicator, and does excellent work!

Gallegos (Christian Gomez) was the second plumbing company to come over the day of my appointment. The first could not figure out what needed to be done. Christian went above and beyond to make it happen and was able to figure out what was going on and fixed my drain. 10/10.

Top notch service and professionalism, but with their change from hourly to charging per job, I ended up paying $286 for less than an hour's work to change a faucet. Just be aware if you are hiring them for a small, low-risk job... and get an estimate BEFORE setting an appointment!

Tried to take care of a “honey do” project that ended up with the handle breaking off on the shut off valve at the wall. Called Gallegos plumbing since they replaced our water heater a couple years back and was told they would have someone out same day in the afternoon. Soon after I received a call that technician Christian was available. Christian showed up no more than 20 mins later, took a look at the problem and had the parts on hand to fix it! Repair didn’t take long and water was back on in less than a couple hours from me turning it off. Appreciate the quick service and professional service!

One of my toilets became severely clogged, and no amount of Liquid Plumber and plunging was going to fix it. Andrew arrived and assessed the situation. He was good about quoting a price before the work was done. He tried simple fixes before bringing in his bigger tools. At one point I wasn't sure if what he was doing was the right thing to do, so I called a friend who is a plumber far away, and he agreed that Andrew was going down the right path. He ended up removing the toilet and using the big snake with a camera. He showed me the video as he snaked the pipes. He also kept the area very neat and clean, and was conscientious about setting things on his padded surface. He replaced the toilet and everything is good as new now. My plumber friend on the phone said it was a fair price. I have called many plumbers before, and Andrew was by far the best equipped and most knowledgeable professional I called. I will definitely be using Gallegos Plumbing in the future.

We hired Gallegos Plumbing to replace the old drains in our house as well as putting in a liner for our cast iron sewer line that was cracked. Daniel, Guilermo and Jose were great. Fernando then installed a tankless water heater. His work was also very efficient. Josh then came to trouble shoot the recirculating valve. He was thorough in his work and explained what he would be doing. This was a follow up service call for previuos work done by Gallegos Plumbing so there was no charge for coming out. Overall the work and services provided by Gallegos Plumbing and their employees was excellent. I would definitely recommend them for any Plumbing issues you may have.

Noah arrived promptly and worked swiftly to replace a water faucet in the backyard. I’m very happy with the result. Great service again from Gallegos. They were courteous and efficient. Three hours after we called them, they’d found a leak in our irrigation system and fixed it.

This is the second time we have used Gallegos plumbing. The first time we had Paco come out and he impressed us with his personality and expertise. We asked for him again, but apparently he is out sick for a while, so we are sending our prayers to him and his family. The company sent Joshua out to speak with us and we were immediately impressed with his personality and expertise. We added several other jobs on at the last minute and he gave us a quote for everything we ask. We decided to not do everything all at once, and cut the job down, and he was very accommodating. We settled on having our kitchen sink drain repaired, which someone else had put in brand new just a few years ago. We also had him replace a toilet and a country looking faucet in one of the bathrooms. Joshua explained that he had a customer that he had to do a repair for in Moorpark and was unable to complete the job since we had added on so many items, but would send us someone else from the company. We, of course, totally understood this! Right on time we got a knock on the door and it was Noah who came to do the work for us. This is a third employee that we have nothing but praise for! This young man knew what he was doing and immediately started on the work. He explained and answered every question that we asked, and it appears as though everything went off without a hitch. We cannot thank each of these three young men enough for their expertise, kindness and understanding. We also want to think Gallegos Plumbing for hiring the type of people that we welcome into our homes. We think you guys are the best!

We had the garbage disposal removed. We close not replace the garbage disposal. Work was fast efficient and clean. He was very kind, pleasant and patient when answering my questions. He took care of cleaning and placing cleaning solutions back in their place. He had extra work to do but the price stayed as given. I asked for recommendations on the hoses and faucets. I got an estimate and plan on taking care in the near future.

Mario did an excellent job, very professional and truly an asset to the company. He explained procedures, costs and options. No hard sell involved. Everything was cleaned up when he finished and I would recommend Gallegos for any plumbing issues.

Today I had Gallegos plumbing replace a water heater. Their plumber, Will, arrived promptly in the morning well prepared for the job. He did an excellent job and brought our water heater back up to code. I have used Gallegos in the past and have always been extremely satisfied with their service. A very professional company with competent, respectful employees.

They installed a Flow by Moen system for me and the whole experience was super smooth. Showed up on time, explained everything in plain English, and the work itself was really clean. No mess left behind, piping looked neat and professional, and they made sure everything was working perfectly before they left. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and easygoing — no pressure, no upselling, just solid honest work. Honestly just a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Well the technician did a good job in installing the water heater the way they charge is not by the hour but by the item being replaced or repaired. Why I this is because I drained the water heater unhooked all other components. I thought in doing this would be a significantly lower price. Nope get prices. John did give a 10 percent discount.

I usually don't hire contractors to do work around my house, many are not dependable, don't do a better job than what I can do and very expensive. Unfortunately this particular job was beyond my ability. Called Gallegos cause my water had been shut off for almost 24 hours. Showed up as they said they would, fixed my issue and charged a reasonable price. Worth it if you need a good contractor.

Will and Spencer were able to quickly identify an issue with our water heater and get us back to having hot water in under 45 minutes. Will's "bedside manner" was amazing -- he spent time to explain exactly what he was checking during each step of the process. CURRENT REVIEW 03/17/2026 We called Gallegos for some pipe work and toilet(2) work/maintenance. Today, Joseph Trevino showed up to work. He is truly an instantly likable person. He took a look at what needed to done and set up the work order, went over it with us then began working. When all was done, I couldn't have been happier. The area where he worked was left clean (I've had plumbers before leave a mess for me to clean and mop) Work: Excellent. Personality: Excellent Time Management: Excellent. Trouble shoot and offer another solution, which by the way gave us a savings. I have now used Gallegos multiple times and will continue to use their services. Joseph added an important integral part to consumer service and as face to the company. Sill a 5 star company with 5 star employees. PAST REVIEW A wonderful gold mine find for plumbing. We had a scope, jet pressure and a two way clean out installed. This is a 1961 built home with original pipes and of course aged. We've had issues this past year and though other companies have come out to assess and fix the issue, Gallegos was the only one with a comprehensive investigation of issues, then an answer to the problem with a working solution. Then after the work was done, the clean up was done and it looked like they had never been here as everything was put back in place, and, the work area swept. Gallegos Plumbing did a great job replacing our pressure regulator and main shutoff valve! Both Jordan (initial assessment and quote) and Jose (the technician who did the work) were personable and customer focused. Of three different plumber contractors, Gallegos had the best price, most knowledgeable and friendliest staff, and best communications.
